The Cheeky Geeky Vaudville is Our Cheeky Geeky New Affiliate
We’ve got exciting news for you today: Some-Stories.com is partnering with the very cool folks over at Cheeky Geeky Vaudville.
If you aren’t familiar with Cheeky Geeky Vaudeville, you should be.
Everything you need to know about these incredible people is right in their name. CGV is a troupe of talented actors, dancers, musicians, and other performers who come together to produce incredibly entertaining variety shows. Which explains the “Vaudeville,” but leaves the rest up in the air. Did we mention that everything is inspired by as wide a range of geeky comic, movie, television, and video game fandoms as you could possibly want? Because it for sure is, which makes the “Geeky” appropriate. “Cheeky” is really just a general attitude thing.
We first became aware of CGV after Tess attended their 2013 show. Tess made it very clear that this was something everyone in the office needed to check out. We had a chance to see the show at MisCon 28 and knew right away that CGV was a group we wanted to be affiliated with. After a conversation that amounted to “I love what you do” going back-and-forth, we hammered out the details.
Now CGV has a banner on the front page. We’ll also let you know when some top shelf CGV merchandise shows up in the store for you to spend your money on.
For now, if you are 18 years or older and in the Missoula area, CGV is putting on a show this Friday, October 3rd at 7:00 PM that still has tickets available. You can buy them in advance for $11 or wait and get them for $14 at the door, but if you do that show up early to make sure you have a seat. So drop by and enjoy some burlesque, belly dancing, live music, comedy skits, and more.
