Kylie comes from a long line of whoop-ass!

The second panel is Sumiko, she forged the armor after her sister was assaulted by a Heian period lord. She not only wanted vengeance but to protect her family from oncoming armies. The bottom panel, the woman on the right is Haikumo. She was a geisha but turned rogue and stole money from drunk and unsuspecting men to support herself. It's rumored that she saved an American toon's life from a couple of drunk ronin. The woman on the left is Hana, she was inspired by American and European toon's like Waldo the Monkey and Pin Up Penny and the Super Optical Man. Wanting to make a differnce and bring justice to her home, she picked up some pieces of her ancestor's armor and become Hana Ha or “Blossom Blade”. The woman in the center is Usagi, Kylie and Ben's mom. She joined the Bouquet Band and was Ran no Bushi or Orchid Warrior.  Through crime fighting she met Kylie and Ben's dad who was at the time Dare Man. She gave up her warrior days to raise a family.
